308 subsonic load data????

Anyone got load data for a 308 shooting subsonic?

I got trailboss, but ive heard of using other powders too.. not sure whats...

Thinking about 208 Amax bullets...

You're down in 300 Blackout territory, maybe you could start with that loading data.

Hodgdon lists on their site 2 ss loads for the 168 SMK

Hodgdon Titegroup: 8.0 gr. - 1080 fps.

Hodgdon Clays: 8.0 gr. - 1060 fps.

Thinking about 208 Amax bullets...

13-15 grains of Trailboss will be subsonic or close with the 208 AMAX in .308.

At sea level, stability is iffy in a 1 in 12" twist, but a 1 in 10" twist should work.

There are a few tricks to working up and shooting subsonic loads. TB often has issues keeping the velocity consistent. It's fun to play with, but accuracy and consistent velocity are challenging, especially the 1st shot form a cold barrel and getting things to settle back in after cleaning.
