Ok, so I have a question about putting a detachable bottom magazine on my now new 308 rifle that I had re barreled and a new stock. Its a LA, and I know H-S Precision has 30-06 bottom metal for sail but they are the only one who sells it in that caliber. I know 30-06 is same caliber but longer case than a 308. I have tried a 308 in a LA 300 magazine which it rattled around. Any solutions, or should I not even worry about it and stick with the BDL? Yes its a Remington.
