308 brass for prs

I agree with other post. Potential is there. In my 223 I was using Federal brass, shot decent. Switched to Winchester and it improved very little. Switched to Lapua and it shot the tightest groups I've ever shot with that gun. Same load same everything on the above mentioned and all I changed was brass only .
Same thing for me with a switch from LC Match brass to Peterson Palma brass {now just called sm rifle due to copyright}

I have shot Lapua SRP for nine years of my F-Class life , and recently started shooting Starline SRP Match .308 Brass as a money saving prospect . Have shot the exact same load in the Starline with the same Berger 200gr Hybrid Target bullet , and have seen no difference in SD , or scores . Rifle is a Kelbly Panda action with a 30in Brux , six-flute .
Have won a Arizona State Mid-Range , John Martin and placed third in a second John Martin . What it comes down to is proper load prep . Quality of the Brass is only relevant when one starts cutting corners with load prep . Many Natl. records have been set with the old Winchester Brass that still stand today , and that Brass is hardly used by anyone today .
