308 12tw VTR

I just got one of the new rem VTR 308s and i see it has a 12tw barrel. I got the rifle to shoot ground hogs and a hunting trip for boars. What grain bullet should i use. I think that a 10tw was the standard and the 165s shoot well. Will the 12tw do the same or do you think that the 150s.
Thank you, Brad

Either one will work. The .308 just isn't that sensitive to twist rate for most common bullet weights - i.e. 150gr thru 190gr. Pick a weight - 155, 168, 175, 190, load 'em and shoot 'em. You'll be fine.

If your using this rifle for groundhog hunting, I would try the 110grn V-Max or the 125grn Ballistic Tip, they are devestating on varmints.
