Today I tried some 200 gr hybrids in my 300wsm it seems to shoot them well at 2920_2930 fps . I used to use 210 gr lrbt Berger at 2850_2860. This seems like it's really fast . It was 62.2 gr. H 4350 norma brass 210 m. Krieger 28" 1_10 t. Anyone out there using this in 300wsm? If so what speed? And I didn't see any pressure signs.

I have a 30 inch Kreiger 1-12 tube for 1000 BR in 300 WSM. I had intended to shoot the 187 bib with the 1-12, but it didn't work out. So I bought a box of 200 Berger Hybrids and had instant small groups. It shot lights out at matches till the last match. Don't know why, but it was the weekend from hell for me as far as groups with BOTH guns, so, who knows?
Anyway, I ran 62G H4350 and a Fed. 210 Match primer @ 2920fps. Lots of 4 inch groups in matches at 1K.

Thanks that's what I was hoping to hear.
You are also going to hear...maybe..that YOU CAN'T shoot a 200 in a 1-12. Well...maybe yes, maybe no. You may loose a little BC, but, the paper really doesn't care about BC.
Thanks dragman with what u and 4xforfun said hopefully I'm on the right track. I'll be shooting it at a 1000 soon to find out. It shoot good at 100 and 400.
Have you had a chance to shoot this at 1000 yet?
Tomorrow the 27th will be the first chance hope it does good and the wind is kind.

Thanks dkhunt14. There's a lot of sharks in the water down here that can rack off 5 with there imp. 6mm much faster than me with my 300wsm.
I shoot alot of 300 WSM. We shoot 10 shots in our light gun. I have done ok with it. Matt
5.9_47 1st target 8.2_46 2nd target at ga long range match.
If this is your first match, that's not bad. Depending on the conditions it could be real good. You need to compare to what others in the relay shot. Matt
