300 wsm velocity with 180 berger

i have a Krieger 10twist 30cal blank on order and going
To chamber in 300 wsm throated for the 180 gr Berger elite hunter. What can I expect to see for velocity on a 26" barrel fitted to a defiance action. Gonna push em hard and near max. What powders seems to get the best velocity also?? Looking to set the gun up for 5-700 yards on elk

I suggest you start any bullet seating depth testing at .015 OFF THE LANDS. Then work back into the cartridge case in .005 increments. Any bullet seating depth testing should be done at the lowest powder charge listed for the bullet/powder/cartridge combination you are testing.
