Got a chance to try the long range hybrid 208’s to a mile. Just some clips of several shots, many close calls and 2 hits. Its a 16” plate. First time i hit it. 56 deg or so, a little breezy but tried to shoot in between gusts. At 1200 or so ft but target is up hill at 1600. Reloder 23 powder, roughly 2860’s fps out of my 24” Brux. Seemed to take 19.4-19.5 mils to get there. I was using some hold over, mildot reticle, holding around 1.5 or so dots up. They seem to shoot pretty good or me

I think my biggest issue now is i have to hold over using standard mil dot reticle. I basically need to be holding 1.1-1.2 mils thereabouts so the second dot at 32x is 1.5 mils, first is .75. So my point of aim is not seemingly consistent. As you can see i had many close calls just low at the base of the target. If i had been better or took some out of the dial and just used the second dot, i would have likely converted those near misses to hits and been extremely happy lol. But i’ll take it. May get back out there again in better conditions, before it gets too warm. Maybe slightly warmer air will give me some of that drop back.
