300 Win Mag Chamber Reamer for Heavy ELDs?

First off, thank your son for his service. Secondly, glad your other one survived…many don’t who get tangled up with big rigs.

I’m shocked someone is still building a win mag…with the 30 Nosler and 300prc, I suspected all new rifles would go that direction. Enjoy your new rifle.

Is not the Hornady ELD a "match" bullet? For hunting elk? Seems like there are plenty of bullets designed for such a purpose (big game). Proven premium hunting bullets. The rifle needs to be 'factory ammo' capable? SAAMI spec. Tight necks are for reloaders . The brass doesn't get 'worked' as much during re-sizing. Too tight a neck can dangerously increase pressure. A SAAMI chamber can be throated any way you might want,,,,,,, with a throating reamer! Of course, depends upon who's 'driving' the reamer......

Hornady also has the ELD-X Hunting bullet to go along with the ELD-M's. So the OP saying ELD bullet is confusing.
