300 RUM brass

i am not aware of Winchester making 300 RUM brass, but I have shot both Rem. and Nosler brass in my no turn neck 300 RUM with .340 neck. I can neck turn/clean up Rem. brass after sorting weight wise and a lot of work, or go with Nosler brass which is far and away better then Rem. brass at least in my rifle. I neck turn to fit chamber and no other operations and my rifle is an absolute hammer. The Nosler brass is thicker overall to fill up a SAAMI spec chamber better, but you will have to neck turn for a tight neck chamber.

You are absolutely correct. I had to go look at the brass and it's Remington. Sorry for the confusion.

No big deal. Its a great cartridge that is gaining ground nowadays for its accuracy. Stuff some Retumbo in the case and life is good!
