300 PRC Target Rifle Build

Ive been putting together the parts for a 300 PRC F-class rig for a while and its finally together, mostly built it for recreational shooting with a buddy,

Defiance Rebel action, 30 inch 1-9 twist Cut Rifled Bartlein, MTU contour, DimaRS F-Open Laminated Stock, DimaRS Scope Rings & Trigger Guard and Rear Bag, Kahles 10-50x56 scope, had it out to the range briefly a cpl days ago, shot ok with 210 Berger VLDH over 76.0grs of R26, heading out again tomorrow to test out a few powders/bullet options.
Weight 20lbs

As usual Gunsmith Gary Flach did an awesome job on this build, I cant thank him enough.

Try the 225ELDM's or the 230SMK. Both shot excellent out of my gun at a 1k. I've shot the 230ATIPs which have been laser beams as well but only shot those out to 430 yards.

I haven't used the RL26. I've run H1000 exclusively.

Thanks for all the kind words, Im having a blast shooting it,

I got to the range today and ran a string of 210 Berger’s with H1000 at 300 yards the first four shots were into 1 enlarged hole, the others moved up and out a touch, started at 76.0grs and went up to 78.1,
I’ll run the next string down and see where the nodes are,

yes the brake is removable and I have a thread protector the same weight as the brake.

I also did some work with N570 and it responded well to 82grs with the 245 Berger’s at 2950fps

It’s looking like the H1000 is very promising.
