Anybody try a 300 norma "SLR"? Improve the shoulder, cut a little capacity, no fireforming....
My 300Norma shoots great, but it would be nice to cut some powder out of it.
I'll get an update in a,day or two. Only asked after initial range session. He seemed pleased.Going Really big in the 30 cal.
Those deer in Williamsport must have some pretty darn thick hides to require 300gr'rs to kill'em.!!LOL I wouldn't call it over kill. We were set up in a couple places that 1500-1800yds were very achievable. I know that I was under gunned for that kind of distance.forum.accurateshooter.com
That 300 skadi is nearly spot on what I was looking for. I didnt find any updates/range reports on it. Thanks for finding that.
