300 Dakota?

Looks like it pushes pills faster than the 300 Weatherby and the 300 RUM. Must be a real barrel burner. Have heard references made about it...but guys usually step up to larger calibers from what I've heard.

Are you looking to build one? Also, have you checked out the .338 family? If you're looking to really reach out. My next build will probably be a .338 Allen Mag. He also makes rounds in 300 and 7mm I believe. Might want to check his stuff out...do a search on Kirby Allen or any of the Allen Mags...He's really putting together some amazing sticks....super accurate and really long range. Also, Barney Lawton makes some amazing rifles...he's got the .375 Cheytac...I believe also a .338 Cheytac. Both would push pills very fast and be very accurate for long range.

Ballistic wise the 300 Dakota would put you about midway between the 300 Win.Mag. and the 300 RUM.Brass is a little pricey and scarce,but it's a VG round.
