300 Black Bolt Gun. Which one?

The Remington 700 SPS in 300 Blk I had was stolen along with my truck and other items.. Horrible experience.
I loved that gun and it shot really well with a Rifle Basix trigger.. If I buy a Ruger the trigger wouldn't be as good as Rifle Basix and the stock would have to be replaced...

I saw where Savage now has the "NEW" AXIS II in 300 blk..
I looked at an AXIS II ( 6.5 CM) at Cabela's last week and the stock was decent. They advertise the trigger can be adjusted down to 2.5 lbs..
The Savage has a 1-8 twist, while Remington 700 has a 1-7 twist..
Savage a good reputation for accuracy and for the money, Savage is looking real good right now..
