30 BR Primer Preference

Sometimes one has to use what is available.
Previous year have shot what I could find but more options now available.
What are the preferred primers for 30 BR???

My real question;' Is the CCI 450 Magnum primer OK to use in the 30 BR????

Doc try them I think they will work just fine if that's all you have to use

CCI 450 will work just fine with the 30BR. Drop your load back @ a grain and work it back up.

I use the Unis Ginex primers on occasion in my 30BR.

They shoot exactly like the Federal 205’s. However, they can be pretty difficult to seat in brand new brass.

Doc, I use the Federal 205M or the standard 205's. Both have shot identically in several 30BR's. I haven't worked with the CCI 450's a lot but they were good.

Jackie which version of that primer do you use I believe they have a couple different SR primers

An exercise in futility—-maybe.
I was surprised at how close the 3 different primers were in speed. All seemed to perform about the same. The BR 4 seemed to group the best
