Another one I have been looking at, but I am not a fan of the Hogue stocks. Forend has too much give.Savage 110 trail Hunter. The accuracy part,, probably more on the shooter/ammo than the rifle.

Last time I looked the 1500 Howa was in the 500-600 range and they guaranteed 1MOA with premium factory ammo.Howa Gamepro.,
I don't own one but they're very affordable, with sub moa with premium ammo warranty.. Threaded barrel and Houge overmold type of stock. Not sure about the weight but I assume no more than 8 lbs... probably 8 and a little with scope.
.
I seen Howa's do MOA groups with the cheapest ammo.
Definitely NOT 5/8-24 muzzle thread on a Browning.$669.99 : https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1037998928
Put a $12.95 MCarbo trigger spring in it and go shoot sub MOA.

Not a Walnut stock! lol.
Haha. Yeah, changed my mind after I priced it out. I went with a Bell and Carlson. Fit perfectly and I have used them before and they fit me well. Not a Walnut stock! lol.

I have a B&C for my Tikka. It's absolutely great. I did the test one does with a dial indicator to check if you have stress free bedding. The B&C passed with flying colors.Haha. Let us know how you like it when you get a chance to shoot it. I have never handled a Howa before.

It is the 178s and I agree. I have a custom rifle that ended up being picky as well and stacks the Precision Hunter. I do have a box for reloading. However, this would be an elk rifle and the ELD-X is not exactly the best for that. I just wanted to ensure the rifle could shoot and have a baseline. Amazing I got almost the same group size with 150 PPs. My go to is always Norma and it was about a 2" group. That precision hunter stuff is expensive BUT shoots nice in everything I have tried. Is that using the 178gr ELD-X? I have switched to those in my 06. Only recently though, and have not taken game with it. I was sick of my OCD triggering when I saw a tiny scuff on a lead exposed soft point interlocks. So after I saw how well those ELD-X shot, I went to red plastic tips.
Nice shooting!
I would go with the precision hunter for larger game, either for deer. That rifle is a shooter, don't let it goGood range day. That HOWA is a picky booger, but she has potential.
