264 win mag brass

Translation: We have a .257 Wby so we don't need a .25/.264 WM even as a wildcat, but while we have a .264 WM we still need a 6.5 /.300 Wby. Why? Is the 6.5/.300 Wby THAT much superior to the .264 WM?
Well, a .25-264 Win Mag would be very similar (capacity wise) to the .257 Wby. But the 6.5-300 Wby is a full-length magnum and has measurably more capacity than the .264 Win. Not really apples-to-apples.

Yes...yes it is. 6.5 -300 wby is a much bigger case. It's like comparing the 7mm Rem mag against the 7mm STW. A 25-264 is pretty much the same as a 257 ROY. The only reason to own one would be if you didn't like the double radiused wby shoulder.
