260 Velocities?

Eleven loads with 4350... Hmmmm? might mean something.
I can make it twelve but will have to go look up the load but it comes from a past national champion(s) and I do remember that it involves the 142 SMK. I use it and it does well but I did no load development myself. At my age I have given up load development and just use what others have developed. I have a big advantage of knowing how to read the wind and that is worth one scoring ring.

Wow I have to push just under 48.5gr of the 4831sc to get the velocity out of my barrel and a little crunch when seating, looks like I might have to break down and work up a load with the 4350.
I like the accuracy I'm getting out of it but if I could save a little room in the case and get good velocity and accuracy... looks like the 4350 has a lot of close numbers with a few less grains

Best'o luck, I'm getting 2785 fps with 140 gn Sierra's in my 20" Savage lightweight with VV-N550, its a hot load (says the primer pockets, 3-5 reloads from Hornady brass) but shoots wonderfully and QL says its within the specs for pressure

Cheers
