Very interesting. Sounds like you are an early adopter. Do you have access to Berger or Sierra bullets? They are more widely used here than Hornady. The 284 is the most popular cartridge but you can really increase your skills with the .260. It and the ackley variations can be pretty competitive. The 6.5-284 was king of the hill but low barrel life made shooters look for something else. The 284 with high bc Berger bullets seems to be a very good compromise.

Usually we have no bigger problem with availability of different bullet brands, the problem is the price...

The Berger's are very very pricey - 100ct. box of 140gr Hybrid cost 65€... A box of 100ct. Sierra MK 142gr. is around 55€. Hornady ELD-M between 43-45€ for 100ct box.
Powder? 1lb of H4350 is around 55€... Alliant and IMR cost even more. How much in the US? Under 30$?
Beacause of this, most people shoot here Lapua bullets/brass, Vihtavuori and RS powders.
Back to topic.
I checked yesterday the case capacity of the Peterson 260 Rem brass. There is only small difference compared to the Lapua brass. I will try few more loads with the RS62 and then I plan fine tune the seating depth.
