260 Brass

I am looking at doing a 260 project and one of my concerns is the brass availability. We have tested some of the Nosler Brass and it looks good so far, but we have not fired any of it yet. Although we are curious how it will hold up and the accuracy potential.

Has anyone been shooting the Nosler Brass and what are your experiences? How is it comparing to Lapua?

It seems most are using 243 or 308 Lapua and neck sizing accordingly.

Your Thoughts?

I shoot a .260AI and love it- near 6.5x284 performance w/ 5 or so grains less powder. I orig. used Rem .260 brass fireformed then sorted by weight, etc. I found the primer pockets to go in several reloadings. So I went w/ Lapua .308 necked down adn fireform.

I'm a Lapua 243 and neck up kinda guy. I had problems getting the necks to size correctly with my neck bushing die. I was using a 289 bushing I think and was having some problems. I size up so I don't have to neck turn. I don't know if it is really needed or not but in my simple mind my formula works. No worries.

I wish all my guns shot as well as my 260
