The Souper is a very nice round but not optimized in a standard Short Action. Seating the 131-135gr bullets ahead of the neck/shoulder junction won’t fit very well in AICS/AW length magazines. Also the 25x47L and 25CM will propel these bullets to the 2900-3000+ FPS range, so the extra powder room isn’t necessary for that application.
You can always get a throating reamer. On the chambering I’d go with a 257 Roberts or Roberts AI if your action will accommodate the loaded round.Some dummy rounds for barricade practice in the back yard. They are loaded to the same length as my match rounds. At this length they should function in any short action magazine.
My chamber was teamed with the JGS no-turn 0.130” FB, purchased from Blackjack’s website. I would have liked 0.160” FB ideally, but I didn’t have to wait 4-6months on the reamer this way...
