25 Cal. VLD and Nosler bullets on varmints

Thinking on a new XP-100 handgun chambering and seriously considering a 25 SAUM using maybe the 115 Berger or Nosler BT for sniping coyotes out to ~500-600 yds. Already have all the other calibers and thought why not a big 25? Limited bullet selection but i've heard these 2 are standouts.

Any on-varmint experience using these 2 bullets?

Have used the 115 Berger VLD on mule deer, rock chucks and coyotes from my .25-06 over the past few years. It works just fine, but the off-side of this yote is really torn open... Typical for the VLD:

Retumbo is a good powder for the 115 from the .25-06 case.

Thks. Guy--nice to see the Berger works well enuf. Hoping to get decent 500-600ish terminal ballistics out of it. Don't know if the Nosler will give me any benefit over the 6mm 87 V-max at ~.4 BC (out of another gun) but will see, i suppose.
