25-06 with Sierra 90gr. SGK

I shot a 5 gallon bucket of bullets, sierra 2nds years ago on jackrabbits and coyotes. I used IMR 4350, right up at a max load for the rifle. Play with primer choice and seating depth, you are going to be shocked at the accuracy. The accuracy node in a Rem 700 V, Ruger V, and Savage 112J was in the 3300 fps area or a tad more.

Winchester brass is the toughest. I bumped the shoulder each firing with a Forester/bonanza neck sizer, cases lasted 12+ firings, and I never annealed in those days.

The 25/06 and 90g Sierra is a very accurate combo with a rifle that is bedded, freefoated, tuned trigger, and has a high power scope.

Rock Chucks took off like bottle rockets when hit with this combo.

I shot the Sierra 90 gr. #1616, (not sure on the product number) a couple of winters for coyotes. They shot excellent and the doggies hated them!! My 25.06 also has a 26" barrel with a 1.10 twist. Then, same rifle, I started shooting 75 GR VMAX with IMR 4064 and the, 'little bitty groups' gods suddenly started smiling. Good Luck!

I got 90 Sierra BK's flying great in a guy's 25-06 with IMR-4350. It was approaching the high end, and I don't have my load manual in front of me at the moment but I want to say it was up around 53.3 grains at maybe .020 off using Rem brass and Fed210GM primers. Wonderful varminting setup, makes the loudest sound of impact on ground-hogs of anything I have ever heard! Gets it done on them wayyyyyy out there.

my 25-06 is an A Prefix 700BDL rebarreled in the mid 90`s with a Shaw 26 inch 10 twist,,90 gr Sierras and a HOT load of IMR4831 right at 3500 fps really rocks varmints,,I shot that bbl out also and need to have it barreled again,,first rifle I ever owned,,RL19 works well with 90-100 gr bullets also,,

I've killed around a dozen Texas whitetail & probably 5 times that many hogs w/ Sierra 90s & a max load of IMR 4350. Let my cousin talk me out of that rifle several years ago......still regretting that one!

THEY SHOOT WELL IN MY 25-06 ACKLEY 26'' 10 TWIST HART BARREL W/H- 4831SC THEY ARE MOVING AT 3575 FPS

I've shot lots of the 90 gr Sierra BK bullets in my .25-06. I've found them to be very accurate. I use RL19 with these bullets.

I shot the barrels out of a Ruger Varmint, Rem 700 varmint, and a Sako Varmint with the 90g BTHP, hot load of IMR 4350, and IMR 4831.

Blows jack rabbits 30', Launches rock chucks very well, and blows soft ball size holes in coyote shoulders. Very accurate bullet, easy to tune to 1/2" groups.
