25/06 for coyotes

I like the 25-06 as a coyote/mule deer/pronghorn cartridge. Have had great results with the 115 grain Berger VLD and the 115 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip. Both are accurate. The Berger really tears up the off-side of the coyote...
Both the buck and the coyote were taken with the 115 grain Berger VLD over a stiff charge of Retumbo and a 3190 fps muzzle velocity. I like to use the same load for all my hunting with the 25-06. Your 70 grain load is a LOT lighter and faster than my 115 I'd imagine!
