My 243AI shoots the 105 grain Berger VLDs at 3200 fps This load shoots one hole groups at 200-yards all day every day...

Please post pics of a half dozen of your one hole 200 yard alll day, every day groups, and I'll be buying some of that magic gunpowder for my 243AI

That 2960ish is my sweet spot for the DTAC's w/49.5 H1000. No pressure and consistent low 2's out of a 29.5" Krieger. The DTAC seems to really like the just sub 3000 for quite a few using them...

A little off topic.

Apples and oranges but I use RE 25 and BN 115 Dtacs 3215 fps in 243 AI lapua brass excellent accuracy. 28 7.5 twist Schneider. Never one hole all the time but most groups better than 0.25 inch at 100 yards.

I shoot mostly 6 x 47 lapua now with 105 Berger hybrids. 3156 fps with excellent accuracy. I've pushed them as fast as 3300 FPS but nothing lasts very long at that pressure and speed. 28 inch Schneider with 7.5 twist. Easy to find a great load. I gotten as much as 25 reloads out of the brass without annealing. Barrels last about 2400 rounds before the groups start to open up, about 900 rounds with the 243 AI. In a local competition I've hit a 2.5 x 6 inch target, pop can full of explosives, at 1500 yards with it. You're only allowed 2 shots at a time. I don't think it gets any better than that. I would not go back to the AI.

I only use 39.8 grains of powder in the 6 x 47, 48.5 in the AI. I sure you could push lighter bullets much faster.

Just my thoughts
John
