243 Winchester 10 twist

My 18" barrel does not like the longer 100 gr bullet in 243win., Rem 600. The 85gr Sierra is about the longest bullet for top accuracy, IMO. http://www.bergerbullets.com/twist-rate-calculator/

Any 90-100 grain non VLD bullet would be fine. VLDs(heavier) need minimum of 9 and 8 is best. 95s do great with a 9. Never tried a 10 but based on my 9 twist not shooting anything heavier than a 95 vld, I'm guessing anything vld will be iffy. 105 Amax will not shoot well in my 9 twist. Some say there's do well. My gun does not.

Both my Tikka and Browning X bolt have 10" twist. The Sierra 85 BTHP shoots great in these rifles and is a good all around bullet for the 243; from varmints to deer. This is a hunting bullet but shoots likes a match bullet. Also the 90 grain Nosler BT shoots well in these rifles and is an effective deer bullet.

I've been able to get 1 moa groups with the Sierra 100 grain Pro Hunter bullet but it doesn't shoot as tight as the lighter bullets in these 10" twist rifles but shoots great in my Rem 700 which I think is a 9.25" twist.

Berger makes the 87 grain hunting VLD specifically for 10 twist 6mm barrels and they shoot great. Try them, you WILL like them.

I have an older box of Berger 95 classic hunters and right on the box says 1-10 will work. I've been meaning to try them
