.243 win

I have a .243win, Remington M700 with a 26in barrel that has a 9 and 1/8in twist rate. What bullet weight would this rifle prefer to eat? ;)

I've been shooting th 87gr. VMax in factory Remington barrels, and one 1:8" barrel with excellent results. I really like this bullet. It's light enough to drive pretty fast, but still has a .400 BC. Everything I've shot with it has dropped in its' tracks. I recently shot a 3 shot .450" group with a factory Remington. A .243AI put 3 shots into 1 1/2" at 500 yards.

My Savage Varmint shoots Hornady 105 A-Max very well to 600 yards with H-1000, Winchester brass and WLR primers. H-1000 will hopefully save on barrel life also. Shoot Strait teele1

90gr lapua scenars,i run 44.3-44.4gr H4350 win brass and primers. in a sps varminter 26"factory bbl very low es and groups. works absolutely wonderful on groundhogs and whitetails out to 600yds.
i had planned to use 95SMK but why mess with a great thing!i installed a H S precision stock instead.
try the scenars, you wont be disappointed. work up to the powder charge,dadada...,it is not hurting MY primer pockets at all after firing 100 brass 4x.
9 1/8tw also
