I just got my rifle back from PacNor last week. They installed a 28" 3-groove 8 twist barrel with a muzzel brake. After fire forming a few Lapua brass and shooting some 115 DTACs, all i can say is WOW!!. This thing shoots like no other gun Ive had! It has been very easy to find a good load, not picky at all. I settled on 50gr. of RL 25 with a velocity of, hold on, 3250fps! It seems a little fast to me but the gun loves it. I have reloaded some of the brass more than 10 times already.
At 100 yards it will put them in the .2s or less most of the time with the worst group being half inch. At 300 yards it has shot several 1/2" groups,3 shots). I have not had a chance to shoot any further yet, but can't wait.
The gun has a SSS trigger with their Varmint/target stock in camo wood. The action is a Savage Stevens that stared life as a .270 win that I bought new and never fired. I got it for $200. I would post pic but can't figure out how to.
