243 AI load with 115 BN DTAC's and Reloader 25

Anyone have any great loads with 115 Boron nitride coated DTAC's and Reloader 25 in a 243 AI? Any other recommended powders? I'll be using a 28" Schneider 7 1/2 twist P5 barrel.

I have looked at the 243 cartridge guide.

I shoot a .243 with 7.5 twist in a 27” length build specifically for the 115 DTAC, I use the boron coated bullets also. I have about 500 rounds through this rifle using RL25 with 43 to 45g and find most weights shot very well in this range, I have lately stayed with 45g even after finding it will shoot 5 round groups into .5 inch at 200 yards if I do my part, the crono indicates these are flying about 2,980 fps. I recently loaded some VV165 and tested weights of 43g, 43.5g, and 44g. Each of these shot very well five round groups of .5 inch at 100yds, the 43.5 and 44 seemed to group similar and at about the same elevation as my RL25 load although I have not tested the speed yet to see if it is much different. I believe either powder can do the job and dialing in the 10ths for each rifle is part of the game.

This is the best 200 yard 5 round group on a 4 in target using 45g of RL25.

I have a standard .243 load with a 7.5 twist Broughton bbl. using 47.5 grs. RL25 with 115 DTAC's BN. This load was a little stiff in the summer time but just fine during the rest of the year. While it was a little stiff in the standard .243 but it should be fine in your AI.

The Berger 115 bullet is really accurate in my 6x284 with a Krieger s/s 9 twist. I also use RL25 53.0 with any primer. I use it at long range steel targets are a blast.
