241 magnum?

Someone help me out here please. On the underside of the barrel it's stamped DIETZ 241MAG. a Shilen Single Shot Action marked Shilen DGA 64with Hart- Shilen Barrel.Knowing DIETZ-A Hart243 dia 1-14" twist. Looks like a Remington 700 DIETZ reworked 2 oz. trigger and have never run across this cartridge. The stock is a modified 40x with a glassed 3" flat on the front. Stock is fiberglass as far as I can tell The bolt face of the Shilen bolt measures .385. Sako type extractor. Can anyone shed some light on this setup?

I think I figured it out. Howard always wanted to leave you guessing when it took money out of his pocket on chamber jobs. I miss the old fart as he has gone on to the great prairie dog towns in heaven. This barrel is a 224 dia. And he made it a 223 Remington. No more, no less. Marked it 241 mag probably drinking a little whiskey when he stamped it. Ha!! Gotta Love the old coot. I miss him. Thanks for your time in trying to help. Todd DuBose
