241 Magnum????

Picked up a Shilen Benchrest rifle this weekend and have no idea what wildcat this is. Shilen Stainless 1-14" 243x24" barrel. It's stamped 241 magnum. It's a Shilen action and a McMillan Heavy bench rest stock. Shilen 2oz trigger. Anyone with info on this caliber, Please direct me in that direction

Is it a 41 MAG necked to .22 ?

A rimmed .222 can be made from .357 max cases. I think you end up a little short.
