24 Nosler

Anyone shooting one? Been thinking of a rebarrel of one of the many bolt 223's i have to this round. I love the 22 nosler in my AR and think a bolt action in 24 nosler would be a nice handy hunting round for what i do.

That case is a bit shorter than the 22, so it probably doesn't generate much speed. I haven't read about anyone with one yet but I see the brass here and there. A 6x45 or 6 tcu would be a couple other options with your bolt face.

I can see a lot of expense and not much benefit. The 6x45 is pretty close, even a tad better? Without the brass expense. The 6 ARC leaves it well behind in a bolt gun - the Nosler being designed for an AR. I guess with the proper loading they would be close. I realise the bolt face issue.
