.22LR revolver

I've decided against the .22WMR revolver and am leaning toward a "new model" double action .22LR revolver. Anyone have any experience with the following:

Colt King Cobra 6" bbl
Ruger GP100 5.5" bbl
S & W 617 or 17 Classic 6" bbl

Pros/cons, accuracy, trigger-pull & any other quirks with forementioned wheelguns.
I have the King Cobra in 4.25“. It is very accurate without being barrel heavy. I like the 10rd capacity. The fit and finish is excellent. The adjustable rear sight is good. Hope this helps.

The term "quality 22 revolver" discussion pretty much starts and finishes with S&W K-22. One of mine is a 6" model made in 1949, the year I was born. I also have a late model 6" with the full length underlug. They are both a joy to take out plinking on a sunny afternoon.

I carry my 5.5” Ruger Super Wrangler in the woods most of the time. It doesn’t compare to the revolvers here, but it’s cheap and cerakoted. I worry about it less when it’s getting rained on, dragged through briars, and when I sweating during summertime workdays at lease. Fun to shoot!

No love for the Colt Officer’s Model Match .22 LR revolvers?!?
One of the finest revolves ever made along with the 38 Special. Saw both on the line back in the mid 70's.

Myself, I preferred the S&W Model 17 22LR and Model 14 38 Spl. because they had a shorter arc of hammer cock in single action mode, an advantage in the Time and Rapid-fire stages of NRA Precision Pistol competition.

One the most useable 22 LR pistols I ever owned and still do is the Model 34 S&W.

It's a "J" frame revolver with a 4" barrel. It's a wonderful firearm to carry on the hip when hiking and surprisingly inherently accurate. However, because of the thin front sight, it requires the user to have good eyesight but that notwithstanding, it's a great field gun for small game up to 25 yards or so and a joy to carry.

I carried mine for years in a Safariland side holster hiking and roaming the fields in Western PA back in the 70 and early 80's. Even managed to take a few groundhogs with it using Winchester Super X LR ammo.

Mine is about 50 years old, blued, but still shoot great given my poor eyesight. I just wish it had a thicker front sight.

I grew up in the golden age of revolvers. The high-quality ones were expensive in those days but not outrageous like today even with correction for inflation. That's a shame since I think more shooters would benefit from a high-quality revolver to enter the pistol shooting sport. But I guess today, the game is rapid fire rather than precision shooting, at least that's what I see at the pistol range, i.e. 10 shot sequences.

I have a 1 7/8" S&W 34 built in the 50's, I think. Fun gun to shoot, I use it to dispatch pests in traps with the Aguila colibri ammo. Hard to make hits at distance with that short barrel.

After looking at everything I could get my hands on and having owned a wide variety of rimfire pistols including S&W 41's, High Standards, Rugers, H&R's and other stuff I can't even remember, I decided on the Colt King Cobra. Not sure how accurate it will be (15 day waiting period here in the Peoples Republic of Washington) but the quality of the machining did it for me. The thing is like a jewel. Harkens back to the days of the original Python when manual machinists and fitters crossed the line between production and art to create true pieces of art.
