I also read the above post on RFC after I purchased my new 6" King Cobra. My Gun was very hard to eject empty casings from the spool out of the box. The empty casing felt like they were dragging in the spool. I am new to pistols, but I do know a new gun needs to be cleaned thoroughly before using. I cleaned the bore thoroughly with Bore Tech Rimfire blend and a 22 cal. bronze brush thinking that was all that was needed. Having experience with centerfire casing sticking in the chamber when I was young, due to not knowing how to clean properly (I cleaned guns how my dad taught me toThe Colt King Cobra is a pretty gun, but has had some design and quality control issues. Go to the Colt forum on RimfireCentral.com and check the thread “Colt King Cobra 22 Quality Control”. It has the pros and cons from actual owners.

I really enjoy shooting this revolver now and to my eyes the looks are second to none. Including my Ruger and Smiths.
