I use Precision Brand arbor shim assortment 3/4 x 1 1/8. Shims start at .001.

their #25180. 19 shims. They also sell packs of 10 in each thickness .001--.002--etc.

Whats the best for eley like match and tenex with the eps bullet?

Most of those listed Calfee spec chambers were all done initially for ELEY, they will work fine for Lapua as well depending on, as always, depth.

Have you been on rimfirecentral.com? Those guys are hardcores for the most part. Might find some useful information.

The biggest obstacle on RFC there’s about 1/2 dozen guys that actually put experienced based info there. You gotta chop a lot of chaf to get to the wheat.

I have read that book plus every article he wrote on benchrest.com and in precision shooting. thats why id like to have the whole collection of the calfee reamers plus a nevius. I just know as soon as i mention that name i gotta put a flame suit on. Id like to meet him and learn a few things
