.22lr benchrest front rest

Just started shooting ARA Benchrest. What's the best front rest, without spending 2k. And does anyone use a bald eagle brand and do you like it?

A bald eagle base with a shadetree top on it would serve you well. Put up a WTB ad on here and youll find a good one

ARA allows one-piece rests. One-piece rests are a little better so I'd focus on those options. And yes, these are $1k or more. Is that in your budget?

I'm shooting factory class for my first few seasons. Has to be a 2 piece

A bald eagle front rest with a good bag will be all you need, might consider a mechanical rear rest but not certain they are allowed in factory class.

The shadetree top should allow you to fully cover the target at 50y using the joystick alone. I had one on a Bald Eagle and it worked really well for that.

As long as you don’t mind hanging your target side ways the Shadetree with be excellent

I’d give strong consideration to finding a nice used Farley. Idealy suited to the RFBR game and allows you to move across a target with ease.
i used one for years and shot great with it.
