Hello Gents
With the scarcity of components, I'm looking to shorten the experimentation on load development ( Yes, I'm a cheap sucker LOL). Here is what I have. A Kelbly action and a new Schneider 10 twist barrel chambered with a new PT&G 22BR reamer. New Lapua brass. A good assortment of medium burning powders though not a lot of any. Mostly 1 to 2 lbs. A good assortment of primers, CCI, Federal, Remington, and Winchester.
Being in CA, I will have to develop for lead free (Nosler, Barnes, ugg not much success here yet in the 223, and Speer). For the lead my inventory includes Nosler, Hornady, Sierra and Berger 70gr.
The objective/target is the dastardly CA ground squirrel and then a safari to MT for the monster prairie dog. The whole idea is to call your shot. A wager or two has been known to happen
