Messing with some new lapua brass..
I'm using a 40° cutter to keep off the shoulder

Is it better to us a 30° cutter and tap the shoulder..I've done that and just doesn't seem right. But makes a donut on the shoulder...but the cut looks nicer

It's hard to see the cuts in my pics but it's the best I can take of the situation..I'm unable to expand pic for close up..maybe you wont have that problem.
