22BR dies/brass question

Bit the bullet (pardon the pun) today and ordered a Cooper Model 22 in 22BR (1-10" twist) seated in their Wine benchrest stock to go with the same 6BR setup I got last year. Delivery is 3-4 months out but I thought I'd start now gathering up components.

I plan on using 60 unfired 6BR Norma cases I've put aside for this project. Also, since I've had good results with Forster Ultra dies for my 6BR I thought I'd go the same route for the 22BR.

I don't turn necks and this new rifle is a no neck turn job also. However, in the off chance it becomes necessary to turn the necks due to resizing the brass to 22BR, any recomendations on which neck turning device I should get?

I will appreciate any help ya'll can give.
Thanks

Jim,

I use the 21st century neck turning tool and like it very much..

I like the looks of the PMT tool as well, but i haven`t seen one in person so i can`t comment on them.

Having all your ducks in a row is a good thing but being that you don't turn necks and the new rifle is 3 to 4 months out and is set up as a "no turn", I wouldn't be worried about it. Wait till the rifle comes "then" think about what may be needed.
In the mean time, go shooting. ;D No worries. 8)

I've run a 22BR for quite a few years for F-Class in the UK with a 0.246" neck.
I use Redding dies and a KM neck turning unit.

I'd check the neck thickness as the brass I've used (Lapua 6mm BR) is pretty thick to start with and when it's pushed down to .22 it a tad more so. Better that than a nasty surprise.
I've about 400 cases prepped...must be mad!

I think the Hart neck turning tool is one of the best out there. I am really interested in trying the 21st Century though. It looks like it is a faster tool. I do a lot of neck turning and always looking for a better way. I get a bit tired of changing batteries in my Ryobi Tec 4

Phil, have you used it enough to still like it and is it consistant? How is the setup?
