22BR case forming

Piece of cake.;) The way I do it is, first run your lubed 6 BR cases through a 22 BR full length die. Imperial Sizing Die Wax works for me. You might get a few dents in the shoulder but they'll blow out the first time it's fired. Prime, load and go shooting. From then on I use a bushing die to size the necks. After about 5 firings you might need a body die if the cases start to get tight in the chamber. I've never tried necking down the 6 BR case to 22 with a bushing die. I'll have to try that and see how it works for me.

Most of the bushing dies don't neck down far enough for the first time out, you need a full length die to do it right..... A bushing die will work after the initial firing, but sooner or later you'll need a full length die to keep control of stuff .....
