.224 90 gr. SMK Twist Rate Question

If anyone is using this bullet for 600 or 1000 yd. BR I was curious what twist rate barrel you are using . I have been shooting 80 gr. SMK bullets in an 8" twist 22 Dasher barrel for a couple years now and thought I would try a faster twist barrel and 90 gr. SMK's. I emailed Sierra last year when Sierra came out that they were going to produce a 90 gr. 22 cal. bullet and a tech emailed back and said a 7" twist was what they were recommending. So, I ordered a Hart 1000 yd. BR contour with a 7" twist. I am just now finishing up the barrel and got my first box of 90 gr. SMK's and stamped on the front of the box in big red letters it says "6.5" twist". I know Berger recommends a 7" twist for their 90 gr. VLD but I have always had the best results shooting sorted Sierra's. I am just unsure if the 7" twist is gonna stabilize the 90 gr. SMK even at 22 Dasher velocities.

I have had no problem with stabilizing the 90g bullets out of my 22BRW,dasher with a longer neck) in an 8 twist Lilja.

I shot them in an 8 twist Broughton in a "hunting" rifle- 24" 223 WSSM at 3050 fps muzzle velocity and they started keyholing at 800 but have a 28" barreled doggin/ BR rifle that works fine at 3200 fps +.....

I appreciate the comments . They make me feel alot better about my barrel twist choice,7") stabilizing this bullet. I have a Hart 22 Dasher barrel with a 8" twist that I thought about trying the 90 gr. but I had heard that Hart's 8" twist is actually a 8.2" twist so I never did try them.
