2230c powder

Any you guys have exp.with this powder and what did you use it in.

I have 1.5 8lb jugs left from the 4 that I bought. Wish I would have bought a dozen of them.
Excellent so far in my 223's, both 204's and both of my 6BRs.
I've used it in 17 Remington with satisfactory results also.
I'm sure I've use it elsewhere, but I can't recall at the moment.
If you're in Florida and you don't want it, PM me

I wish I lived in Florida so I could trade 32lbs of it for 8208xbr. I have it, but it is my reserve powder. I live in Colorado.

It is my go to powder for anything close to the 223 range rounds. 17-mach 4, 17 Rem., 222, 222mag., 6-45, 6-47, 204, ect. If I could find it for what I bought the last 50 lbs. for I would buy another 200 lbs.

Isn't the 2230C very similar to AA2460? During the Obama powder shortage, I managed to get a good supply of 2460, very accurate, meters great in both my 223 and 223 AI. I think the 2460 is just a good secret that many haven't used or passed over for whatever reason. I love it.

The 2230c powder I have isn't the same as 2460 in my experience. But I have had great results with 140gr bullets in a 7BR

32lbs would be an awesome snag...
A 2000 mile trip to get it, :^[

I also managed to get ahold of 16lbs of 2200. I opened the box, but haven't even touched the powder.
Guess I should build the vartarg so I have an excuse to crack it open

I use 2460 data for my short line SR ammo, good results. I have several pounds of it still left.

I went thru about 40 pounds of it till they quit making it. 5 eight pounds jugs. It was said that it worked good in .223 and .308 so I started using it. Ran it thru my Ruger Mini 14 and my M1A. You needs LOTS of powder when you're shooting gas guns.:D:cool:
Ended up using it in my .221 Fireball, .223 bolt gun, 22, 6mm and 6.8 BR rounds as well as my 6.8 SPC bolt gun. Used it in most everything I shot with good to more that VERY GOOD results. Wouldn't mind having a couple more 8 pounders. Works well in 20 VT, 20 VT "short" and a range of in between rounds.
Finally had to revert back to 2230 and 2460.

Loved it behind 75 's at 200 and 300 in Service Rifle Comps. All 3 of my match AR's loved it. Should have bought a lot more of it. Only issue I found was in the summer. Had to keep rounds in the shade or it would go one to one and a half moa high. Other than the temperature issue it was a great powder.
