223 rifle

Ya a good rifle no doubt i see looking At the CZ 527 but it looks like they discontinued that rifle in 2021

Yea, a CZ 527 Varmint would have been my recommendation if they were available. Given that they have been discontinued, I would be looking a Tikka.

Buy the Tikka. Don't over look the light barrel Tikka's either. I have a 8 twist superlight that has thus far proven to out shoot both hvy bbl Tikka i had/have. I've shot several 3 shot groups in the .1's. The only 5 shot group I've shot with it measures .175 .

What do you think of the CZ 600 'Range' model?

They didn’t really appeal to me, so I honestly haven’t studied them much. I might be a little bitter about them dropping the classic models. If nothing else it increased the value of my 527 and 550s.

Lots of people will dissent, but you might take a look at a Ruger American Predator. 1-8" twist barrel, uses AR-type magazines and shoots up a storm (at least mine does). Shoots 50 to 68-grain bullets into tiny little holes. Twist is fast enough for even heavier bullets but I haven't used any yet.
I will dissent :)

When you say "shoots up a storm", what does that mean? I couldn't get mine to shoot inside of a minute at 100 yards.

Every Tikka I have seen will shoot well inside that, and come with nicer stocks.

It means about as much as the fabled "bug holes" everyone seems to faint over.
Mine regularly stays under .5" and commonly gets under .25" with the loads it likes. It also cost quite a bit less than a Tikka.

Yeah. I wouldn't want to meet the bug that came out of some of those.

Find a Tikka. They’re great, accurate guns. I own 8 or 9 of them in various chamberings.

Tikkas are good the old M55s had cut rifled barrels and the actions are excellent dimensional wise.the 595s are pretty slick for a production made action and make a good platform for a custom rebarrel(as do all tikkas) and they cycle 6BR cases.the T3s are pretty good to.ive built quite a few rifles with Tikkas with excellent results.they normally shoot good straight from the box.

If you like Tikka I wouldn't hesitate to buy one, always good shooters. I did buy a Ruger predator a couple weeks ago and went clear through it, it is a hammer. Punched it out to 223AI and it is amazing. I have a Savage 11 with 5 barrels all factory and all good shooters but I have done a lot of work to it. Easy button to push is the Tikka.
