.223 rem, 80 grain A-max seating depth?

Just curious how far you guys are seating your 80 grain A-max bullets. How many thou off or into the lands?

Some of my loads just touching the lands aren't shooting as well as I'd hoped.

I've had best luck in my AR between 10 and 20 thousandths jump.

If you aren't a neck turner, keep your powder consistent and try a ladder
from 0.005 jam to 0.025 jump. Go in 5 or 10 thou increments.

Two data points for between 10-20 is a good start, but each rifle is unique.

Guess I'm different, mine are into the lands .005-.010". Shoots pretty darn good, much to the Groundhogs chagrin! ;D
