.223 Rem, 69 gr SMK's in a 20"= what velocity?

In a 20" barrel, standard .223 Rem, with 69 gr Sierra match kings at 6000' DA,
WHERE should I be on velocity?

I'm at 2850 fps with nice round groups and an ES of 15-18 fps.

Am I about there for max or near max velocity?

My data has not been tracking even remotely with my Sierra manual. Even taking into account their +4" longer bbl.

if you look at the Sierra data for AR it has a 20 bbl and that data is more in line with your results vx 24

I've got a 20" Remington SPS Tactical in 223 and I'm getting only 2800 fps with 25.5 gr of Varget here in Florida at sea level. That tracks very close to the Sierra data for a 20" AR. My Sierra manual (V 6.01) shows the 69 match king (bolt gun data) being shot through a 28" model 70 for their testing... that 8" of barrel seems to be good for about another 200 fps.
