.223 Lapua blue box brass neck thickness

Thanks a lot if I did my math right that would be 251 loaded round , guess I will stick with LC at .012, with my .252 neck, thanks again.

When I was measuring mine, to spec. a reamer, I was getting .013-.0135 on the necks.....I ordered a .253 neck for my .223AI.

Phil.

I guess it could very just the same as weight does, I noticed when I weighted my LC brass those that had a weight of 91 grs to 91.6 measured .0115 to .012, those that had a weight of 92 to 93 weight measured .012 to .0125

with loaded rounds I measure .250 with two different boxes of Lapua.

Turning necks will help with that issue.. but i feel that with the blue box brass, it is good to have a reamer that is spec'd for it!

With the Blue Box brass i just got, the only thing so far i can say that is bothering me is that there seems to be several that are only 1.745 long..

I been putting this rifle together for my wife and today we shot a 100 yard VFS she did really good for first time out, her first set not so good, but once she settled down she shot 47, 47, 50, 50 3x, so next I'm going work on 200 yard for her with that gun and 300 match going to go with one of my 6MM BR, I'm not sure they email results but I did ok with a 246 4x, like he the first round screwed me up the bench wobbled so I changed benches. This match you can't use regular bench rest stocks with 3 inch flat you have to use sporter type stocks

Turning is boring? How about dispensing powder from a Chargemaster for 100 rounds? THAT is more boring for me, watching the trickle and waiting for the beep and readout. Thanks to Pandora, it is barely tolerable.

I have measured the outside necks of Lapua brass with loaded .223's and found them to be between .2475 and .248. Then again, I have Hornady that slips right down to the primer at .244
