LAPUA .223 BRASS

Because i get just as good results with Lake City brass.

Froggy,
You aren't the only one whose found that LC shoots as well under certain conditions and set-ups as does Lapua. And thats not to say anything negative about Lapua because thats all I had come to use..until more recently when I started playing around with LC Match stuff. And .223 isn't the only caliber I've found that Lake City holds it's own. Both those makes of brass outshoots anything else made although I haven't yet played with the IMI (Israeli Munitions ????? ) stuff that I'm told is pretty awesome too. And as an aside, the weird parts is that LC Match has a wider weight spread than the Lapua. But it still shoots equally as well in terms of accuracy and points scored when shot out of the same rifle. Makes me wonder about the issue of "consistency" in weighing brass as the smaller weight spread doesn't seem to have improved my groups or scores.

I prepped the LC brass completely the same way i did the Lapua and can't see any difference to warrant the the higher cost of the Lapua brass. By the way, my Berger order is in route.
