223/556 Loading with Shooters World Match Rifle

Just loaded some 223's for my AR with 65gr Game Kings and Shooters World Match Rifle . Just was wondering if any you guys had tried Match Rifle in your guns and if you had any thoughts.

I've used been using for High Power XTC competition and works very well with 69, 77 and 80/82 grain bullets out of my Space gun. I'm getting very good accuracy.

Well went out and shot a few yesterday . There is no 556 official data that I can find . So since this powder is similar to AA2520 I started at the low end of their data . In my gun the max load of 26.5 grains of MR with a 65 gr bullet produced no pressure signs and shot very well. I will continue to work up to the max shown in the AA2520 data of 27.2 grains.

This powder is very fine and meters like water. A number of posts I read elsewhere indicated that this powder would blacken the neck of the brass . I did not experience this .

Also I was using Sillier and Bellot Small Rifle Primers ( 4,4 SR Boxer) . I don't know if this is a standard or a mag primer but they had worked well in this application and showed no pressure signs.

Also 26.5 grains fills the case almost to the neck so the load density has to be near 100% . However the 26.5 grain load I shot yesterday was not compressed.

Match rifle 24.5 gr with a 75 gr Hornady HPBT sitting 0.03 off lands, 2750 fps and groups in the .1's and .2's from a 20 inch Tikka CTR. That's the only thing I've shot it with so far but plan on trying a bunch more.
