223 53 gr Vmax with N133 and TAC

I'm shooting 24.7gr and I'm using a batch of Winchester 223 brass that I bought a little over 20 years ago. Its been a while since I clocked it, but out of a 26" barrel I think I'm getting around 3500 fps. I don't generally have any problems hitting a 1 moa plate with it at 500 yds.

Took my daughter out to shoot some clays this past Saturday. I took it along and let her shoot it on our 500 yd range afterwards. I'm pretty sure its the first time she's shot a rifle past 50 yds, and only the 2nd time she's shot a rifle that wasn't a 22 rimfire.

Sorry, I forgot the title of this thread. Yes, 24.7gr of N133 under a 53gr vmax in a Savage model 12.

FWIW, Midsouth Shooter Supply currently has TAC in stock for $42/lb or $300 for an 8 lb keg ($37.50/lb), and they are running a free Hazmat through tomorrow at midnight (23Oct).

They also have N133 for $49/lb or an 8 lb keg for $324 ($40.50/lb). So once again VV is the most expensive. I guess that means that everything is right in the world once again???
