222rem or 6br

Just out of curiosity, from a pure accuracy standpoint, what would you go with? Short range 1-200 yards. The 222 rem or a slow twist 6br?

If I had to pick? The 222
But I prefer the 22 BR over both (much faster and every bit as accurate)

Pray tell..what bullet are you using with it?
I’m just starting with a new to me old 700 in 222. I tested with 40 grain Nosler Blitzkings and IMR4198. I got a bunch of 1” groups so I tried some 55 grain Barnes Matchburners with H335. A little better, maybe. Still looking for that magic combo.

Mine shoots well with W-748
But for top accuracy it likes H322
You should try both of those powders
50 gr TNT's have always been a go-to bullet to start load development on any .224 cal before
progressing to more expensive bullets
