222 MATCH REAMER

Thinking about a NO neck turn,.252) 222 match reamer.

What should other dimensions be, freebore, angle, etc.

I am not wanting an experiment, rather a PROVEN winning combo.

Also, opinions on neck size?

thanks,

Ed

You need to decide on what brass will be used. Lapua is no longer making brass, and Win or Rem brass will not give "proven winning combo" with a no turn neck.

Jim,

thanks.

I will be forced to use either Winchester or Remington brass.

And that is the real issue.

Will a no neck turn case be competitive.

OR, how much to turn, minimum.

AND what are the other reamer dimensions?

I have an older 40XBR with a factory .250 neck. I turn to end with a .248 dia. round. Older win brass I have turn completly, but new rem brass only are cleaning up part way. My win brass is at least ten years old, and I have not used anything newer, might be different now???

Can't help with any other numbers, but would like to know more info as I might have this barrel set back.

Jim
